Monopoly:
Creativity, Self-Enterprising (&) Pridefulness, Theatrics/Drama
Leo as a sign is highly Creative. It is ruled by the planet that enables us to manifest who we are on a soul level into this physical form. The sign of Leo has a well-earned reputation for being able to take their hobby or interest and make it a career—from acting and artistry to motivational speaking. To create something that represents us or brings us pride is well shown through Leo Suns—even more so when the world views it, appreciates it, consumes it, and sponsors (more likely pays) us for it.
The job creator is the Leo, the socialite artist is the Leo, the Regina George is the Leo.
However, Leos are not the only sign that carries these characteristics (far from it). Dynamic, multifaceted creativity is monopolized by the sign of Leo; so too is that creativity popularly suppressed in other signs. Behaviors that thrust us into the spotlight showing a talent that we have cultivated send us all flocking to Leo in our charts to explain it. When the flamboyance of Freddie Mercury, the hamming of Robert Downey Jr, and the dynamic versatility of Tom Hanks is spoken of, their suns are discounted and other planets (in Leo) are pointed to. While alternate placements have bearing, it is important to know that the suns of these people alone are equally indicative of that vivacious creativity.
<<Particularly the signs of Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, and Scorpio have been subject to a funneling or stripping away of their characteristic creativity.>> If the Virgo is not being acknowledged for their larger than life contribution to the musical arts, then the Cancer is being told that it is only "that good" at method acting because it’s moon or mercury fell into the following sign. The Gemini is relegated to writing and stand-up whilst the Scorpio is drowned by the shock when people find out that its most natural roles are in rambunctious Comedies.
Creativity when seen through the Virgo is downplayed through a mechanical lens, which distorts the raw creativity that Virgo suns employ. It is wildly ritualized in a way that emits with precision, to bind all who consume it. When we see it in Cancer, language tries to take the dynamism from them, we call it reflective behavior and don't acknowledge their variable natures that enable them to demonstrate such a wide range of creative manifestations. When seen through Gemini, the passion of self starting creativity is what is suppressed; we cast Gemini as purely intellectual and the methods are highlighted more than the motives! This distorts the rich inner life of a Gemini, which is full of bursting ideas they ache for and the desire to make real what their mind’s eye can almost touch.
When seen through Scorpio, the focus will be on the psychological state of the Scorpio; particularly music, art, and acting gets belittled as being nothing more than therapy for their emotional problems. This completely ignores Scorpio's penchant for expressive artistry that is backed by intense passions and dedication to ideas they have and their quests to make an experience or a feeling that stirs them and doesn't need to be exercised.
The sun in any number of these signs carries the type of original, forthright, unique, and borderline dynamic creativity in ways that have come to be seen as only Leo-esque. The creativity of these signs is manifest through countless figures—some with little to no Leo in their chart. The Sun in the aforementioned signs demonstrates vivacious, singular creativity that draws attention to the self and manifests in a physical and even fiscal way.
Leos are also not the only ones stubbornly trudging through an Alaskan winter without a jacket when being too prideful. Behaviors made of arrogance and imperiousness based on a bloated opinion of oneself and what one deserves (without reasonable basis) is hardly unique to Leo alone. Easily, <<the signs of Capricorn and Aries could be known to have too much pride but other less thought of signs are those of Taurus and Scorpio>>
The two cardinal signs are sometimes called prideful but more often than not are given excuses to shield them from bearing this burden fully. The Capricorn’s pride is sidestepped with explanations about "their inner nature is to work too hard." Instead, it should be admitted that they’re too prideful to admit they need help. The Aries is lovingly called individualistic and laughingly called one-track-minded when really their pride will be damned if they have to share the glory with someone else. The fixed ones sneakily manifest their pride is more subtle ways. The Taurus plays calm because their pride thinks it demeaning to react; they stubbornly deny the fact that they are easily offended by any disagreement with their backwards methods and the blown up value they place in them--they tout the methods even higher in rebellion. The Scorpio attempts to act cocky to disguise the fact that their over-inflated sense of self worth gets jeopardized any time they are not the center of other people's lives.
The Sun in particular in the signs (of Capricorn, Aries, Taurus, and Scorpio) demonstrates blind (and precarious) Pride with and without basis in similarly grandiose fashion as the Leo.
The Theatrics and Drama singly hurled at Leo similarly deserves to be dispersed with the same vigor among the zodiac. You need look no further in your chart than <<Gemini, Cancer, Libra, Scorpio, and Pisces>>.
The craving to be enraptured by the tension in your and everyone else’s social life can be seen manifestly through an entire half of the zodiac, including Leo. Mostly, this is through the water and air signs (the social and emotional body). Leos are hardly alone in their penchant for starting and maintaining “drama.”
Gemini is in every pie of every temperature trying to create cherry inside of banana cream (or convince banana cream that it is cherry). Cancer is constantly convincing itself that it was "forced" to show up unannounced at their ex-friend’s house whilst checking each family member’s location on Find-my-friends. The Libra lives to be in the center of everyone’s friendships and relationships as a self-appointed mediator for a problem they “can just tell is there." Scorpio lives for exchanges of complaints and “did you hear”s and will make sure to share with the group how Mutual-Friend-A is overreacting--all Scorpio did was hang out with Mutual-Friend-A’s girlfriend at 3am and she told him Mutual-Friend-A neglecting her too. Then we needn’t actively put emotions on the Pisces because they’ll probably articulate to you how they have already suffered your energetic attack and now must run towards (though they swear it’s away) from it by breaking all hell loose.
The Sun in particular in the signs (of Gemini, Cancer, Libra, Scorpio, and Pisces) demonstrates an inability or lack of desire to pull themselves from the chaos—chaos that would be quieted with two steps back and self/situation reflection.
The suns mentioned share feats and faults in mirrored manners to that which would be reserved for use only when Leo appears. This monopoly undercuts the true ways that the signs (specifically the sun in the signs) show up in the world.
